Learning to Make Music: Instrumental Education

We’re constantly pursuing creative and educational musical outlets for the children. One of our favourite programmes is for instrumental learning, letting the community learn and explore instruments and helping connect them with the resources they need to keep that learning going. So far we’ve held workshops teaching guitar, keyboard, and drums, as well as cultural workshops showing how certain cultures incorporate instruments as part of their society and identity.
We try to link the workshops thematically to the season as well as other programmes we have going, so below you can see a group learning to cover “Last Christmas”
