Summer of Growth Project

Hiya all! We are pleased to announce the Summer of Growth Project in collaboration with Edinburgh Council and the Dandelion project! We hope your young people love picnics, drums, and the outdoors because this summer we will be running Monday sessions exploring the Royal Botanics, Lauriston Farm, and having picnics in the park! Our fantastic friend Jose will teach the young people how to play drums, and to create rhythms and songs together.
On September 10th we will join the Dandelion project at Lauriston farm to celebrate the community together.

Timeline:
On July 11th we’ll head to the Botanics to learn about nature and how gardening helps our community.
On July 18th we will meet with Jose to learn to play drums and explore how music can reflect community and environmental growth. Afterwards we will have a picnic in the park!
On July 25th we’ll have another session with Jose to create a song together on the drums! More picnics weather permitting!
On August 8th we will head to Lauriston farm together to learn about their project, play drums, and eat some great food!

Ages: 6-15

September 10th we’ll invite the whole community to come together and experience the Harvest festival!

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, please contact: admin@ama-zingharmonies.org.uk and/or amazingharmonies@gmail.com and we will help you get signed up! Registrations start June 28th and close July 5th.
